Job summary

IEM is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Program Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our highly configured, commercial and industrial product lines, owning the backlog and execution across engineering, supply chain, production, and customer interface.

The role emphasizes program management discipline, operational rigor, and process leadership to implement a structured approach for handling specialized manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years in program management operations in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle processes and complex hardware manufacturing.
• Cross‑functional operations across engineering, supply chain, production, quality.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with highly customized or made‑to‑order products desirable.
• Growth‑oriented with willingness to take broader leadership.
• Basic experience with ERP/MRP systems and backlog tools.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Familiar with low/medium voltage industrial equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own backlog and execution of complex manufacturing requests.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment from conception through sales, build, test, and QA.
• Lead program management discipline and process improvements.
• Define and implement structured approach for handling specialized projects.
• Track engineering deliverables, drawings, and changes.
• Monitor procurement and supply chain risks to avoid delays.
• Coordinate capacity and production planning with operations.
• Establish schedules, status reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Interface with customers for updates, change requests, and issue resolution.
• Identify risks and lead mitigation planning to protect commitments.
