Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee distribution, warehousing, and facility operations, driving efficient and cost-effective performance. The role requires leadership across the distribution and merchandising teams and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet customer delivery targets.

You will lead the distribution, warehouse, and merchandising teams, manage budgets, and ensure safe, compliant operations while pursuing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or five years of progressive leadership/management experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management in a beverage or related industry preferred.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Labor Relations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily functions in distribution and warehouse to meet operational targets; may oversee merchandising.
• Provides leadership to Supervisors of Distribution, Warehouse and Merchandising; focuses on team development and retention.
• Submit capital project lists for review and manage bids from external contractors and service providers; may handle leases and grounds maintenance.
• Reviews the P&L monthly and manages labor and operating budgets; assists in annual budget submissions.
• Maintains collaborative relationships across departments to achieve goals and forecast volume with sales and supply chain.
• Ensures safety, security and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements; monitors safety training.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
