Job summary

Ersilia seeks a Head of Strategy & Business Operations to join the founding team in New York. You will own end-to-end outcomes, build internal systems that increase founder leverage, and support client-facing work when accounts demand it.

Reporting to the founders, you’ll oversee internal operations, recruiting, and direct client work across major AI accounts, creating scalable playbooks and infrastructure that drive growth.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-7 years in investment banking, consulting, private equity, strategy, operations, chief of staff roles, or working directly with startup leadership.
• High agency: figures things out without waiting for direction, thrives in ambiguity.
• Strong track record of ownership and execution on substantive work (not just deck-making or process documentation).
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Client-facing confidence and professionalism. NYC 5 days in-person.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize internal systems and processes (CRM workflows, campaign operations, bug reporting pipelines).
• Own critical business operations: payroll, contracts, onboarding, legal/tax coordination, vendor management.
