Job summary

Texas A&M University in Prairie View seeks a Senior Manager and strategic advisor to the Director of the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center. You will align operations, drive priorities, and coordinate research, training, evaluation, outreach, and compliance across the center.

The role leads high-impact initiatives, oversees executive communications and staff, and builds partnerships with TJJD, school districts, law enforcement, and state agencies to advance youth justice and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Juvenile Justice, Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, Education, or related field.
• Seven years of related experience.
• Experience in organizational leadership and executive operations.
• Understanding of youth justice systems and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Director's senior advisor on strategy, operations and organizational performance; translates priorities into actionable plans.
• Oversees internal workflows, meeting structures, and alignment of division leaders with the Director's expectations.
• Manages the Director's workflow, executive communications, reports, and dashboards.
• Oversees center-wide initiatives, tracks grant deliverables, and coordinates relationships with state agencies and partners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
