Job summary

Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center (LCJJC) seeks a dynamic Chief Juvenile Probation Officer (Director) to provide executive leadership, administration, and overall operation of the LCJJC and its juvenile programs in accordance with laws, standards, and the direction of the Lubbock County Juvenile Board.

This role directs staff, budgets, contracts, compliance, and program improvement; builds relationships with judiciary, law enforcement, schools, and community partners; and ensures safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum five years of related experience, with at least three in supervision.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Meet NCIC/TCIC employment requirements.
• Maintain required certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and overall management of LCJJC operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, standards, and board direction.
• Oversee budgeting, grants, contracts, and procurement processes.
