Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation seeks a Project Director for Manhattan Justice Opportunities to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and implement the program model with fidelity. This is a full-time in-person senior leadership role based in New York City.

You will manage budgets, write grants, coordinate with criminal justice partners, and advance strategies that promote equitable, effective alternatives to incarceration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with substantial leadership experience in criminal justice, court services, or related fields.
• Minimum several years of management experience, including supervising staff.
• Strong knowledge of equity, inclusion, and evidence-based practices in diversion programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Manhattan Justice Opportunities Project.
• Supervise senior staff and manage hiring, training, and team development.
• Coordinate with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and service providers.
• Manage project budget, reporting, and grant proposals; ensure fidelity to the program model.
• Develop and implement policies to improve service delivery and cross-site collaboration.
