Xcimer Energy is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to design and lead the People strategy for a fast-growing, multi-site engineering organization. You will partner with the executive team to build leadership capability, governance, and a scalable HR architecture that aligns with the company’s ambitious growth and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level leadership in high-growth tech, aerospace, or complex engineering.
• Proven experience scaling organizations during rapid growth with modern HR systems and leadership capability.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on organizational strategy and executive decision-making.
• Deep expertise across organizational design, leadership development, employee relations, total rewards, performance management, HR operations, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Experience building and leading high-performing HR teams.
• Shaping culture through leadership development, organizational design, performance systems, and manager capability building.
• Strong business acumen connecting people strategy to organizational performance.
• Executive communication, influence, and change management skills with enterprise-wide transformation success.
• Experience leveraging HR technology, analytics, and workforce data to improve effectiveness.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, or allowed to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on organizational strategy, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, succession planning, and culture.
• Partner with executive leadership to define, articulate, and reinforce cultural principles and leadership expectations for growth.
• Develop and execute a long-term People strategy supporting rapid growth from R&D to commercialization and multi-site expansion.
• Lead HR organization spanning HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience.
• Partner with executives on organizational design, executive coaching, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Develop leadership principles framework promoting accountability, collaboration, and decision-making across teams.
• Oversee compensation, equity, performance management, promotions, and career development programs.
• Build scalable people systems, policies, and operating rhythms preserving entrepreneurial culture.
• Create onboarding, feedback, recognition, manager effectiveness, and leadership rituals across sites.
• Drive workforce planning to attract and retain top technical and business talent.
• Champion organizational health via engagement analytics, manager effectiveness, retention trends, and qualitative insights.
