The role collaborates with Leadership Team, Physicians, Supply Chain, and supports capital equipment procurement; develops tactical and strategic tools to improve financial, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong skills in operations management and financial oversight.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with office software and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages and evaluates business operations for the department, including reporting, budget support, capital planning, and process improvement.
• Develops and ensures adherence to the department's annual budget, including monitoring monthly variances and opportunities to improve performance.
• Advances the strategic financial plan and advises senior management on execution.
• Formulates department policies and guidelines to carry out the University and department mission.
• Oversees review, approval and reporting of all expenditures.
• Creates and manages support systems to ensure cost effective supplies, equipment, and management information.
• Monitors contractual obligations and aligns with budget, goals, and initiatives.
• Evaluates internal controls and approval processes to improve fiscal integrity and efficiency.
• Implements department human resources actions, including hiring and salary changes.
• Establishes and assesses the effectiveness of internal controls and ensures policy compliance.
