Job summary

City of Fort Worth is seeking a Management Analyst II in the Development Services Department to provide analytical and research support, develop monthly reports, and guide fiscal and operational recommendations. You will work with the Development Coordination Division to improve processes and reporting for the city’s permitting software, GIS, and data initiatives.

The role requires a master’s degree and at least two years in analysis, with strong Excel and PeopleSoft skills; strong communication

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field.
Two years of experience analyzing processes, budgets, or finances.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and development of monthly DAC and Strategic Operations reports.
Capture, monitor, and communicate KPI data to Development Services teams.
Analyze historical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements.
Perform monthly reconciliation of specific programs and fees.
Act as a liaison with other departments and external agencies.
Assist in developing standards, policies and procedures.
Identify improvement areas, set goals, and recommend actions.
