Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a sourcing leader for KitchenAid Small Appliances OEM business to develop supplier relationships and ensure business continuity. You will lead supplier selection, cost reductions, and contract negotiations while coordinating with engineering, marketing, and design.

You will drive market testing, monitor procurement metrics, and coach three dotted line reports, contributing to cost leadership and supplier excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, marketing, engineering, or project management.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build relationships with internal partners and suppliers.
• Analytical and computer-related skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategy for KitchenAid Small Appliances (KASA) and manage supplier relationships.
• Serve as procurement lead for new product launches in categories like cooking, espresso, toasters, kettles, blenders.
• Lead and support process partner needs including engineering, marketing, and design.
• Evaluate suppliers on cost, quality, delivery and other metrics.
• Perform periodic market testing to drive cost leadership.
• Coordinate and track progress on procurement metrics such as productivity and spend under contract.
• Drive compliance to processes and continuous improvement in the KitchenAid Small Appliance (KASA) space.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across work streams.
• Coach and develop three dotted line reports.
