Job summary

Savills North America seeks a Project Manager for our New York City team. The role covers planning through closeout across construction and real estate projects, partnering with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

You will manage budgets, schedules, design coordination, permitting, and occupancy. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of design/construction experience in commercial real estate, strong communication, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience managing design and construction projects, preferably within commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of design and construction methodologies, permitting processes, and landlord/tenant fit-outs.
• Experience developing project budgets and schedules, QA/QC, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Smartsheet or other PM tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project demands and thrive in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through all phases from planning to occupancy.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Support senior team members and clients with coordination and documentation.
• Collaborate with team to provide advisory services.
• Anticipate challenges and develop real-time solutions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks throughout design and construction.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and scope development, including RFP/RFQ.
• Review design documentation for completeness and alignment with goals.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate on-site activities with consultants, contractors, vendors.
• Manage relationships with clients and partners.
• Share lessons learned and contribute to best practices.
