Job summary

Matter Real Estate is seeking a Project Manager to lead real estate, design and construction initiatives in New York City. You will own projects from feasibility through close-out, coordinating architects, engineers, and construction managers to deliver space that is functional and economical.

The ideal candidate has a strong execution track record, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while mentoring junior teammates. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in real estate project delivery and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from feasibility through design, construction, and close-out.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables with accountability and execution.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Oversee site visits, design reviews, and quality control to drive momentum.
• Support financing processes and identify leasing/acquisition opportunities.
