Job summary

SSM Health Monroe Clinic Hospital seeks an inspirational, patient-centered nurse leader to serve as Director of Surgical & Procedural Services in Monroe, Wisconsin. This role oversees OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, and related services in a 58-bed community hospital.

The leader will drive strategy, operational efficiency, and high reliability, guiding lean initiatives, staffing, budgeting, and safety metrics to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field required.
• Three years RN experience with at least one year in direct people management.
• BLS HCP certification and RN license in Wisconsin or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Directs services, workflow and resources for assigned nursing area.
• Oversees staffing, hiring, orientation, evaluation and continuing education.
• Plans and monitors budgets; ensures fiscal stewardship and compliance.
• Advances evidence-based practices, patient safety and high reliability.
• Fosters collaboration and leads cross-functional partnerships.
