SSM Health Monroe Clinic Hospital seeks an inspirational, patient-centered nurse leader to serve as Director of Surgical & Procedural Services. You will oversee OR, PACU, Endoscopy and related areas, driving high reliability, safety, and cost-effective care.

Ideal candidate brings Lean, project management, and leadership experience in surgical/procedural services, with a focus on collaboration and advancing evidence-based practices to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Three years’ registered nurse experience, with one year in direct people management/leadership.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Directs services, workflow and resources for assigned nursing area.
• Develops departmental goals aligned with healthcare delivery system requirements.
• Directs staffing, including hiring, orientation, evaluation and continuing education.
• Prepares and monitors budgets and ensures operations stay within funds; coordinates audits.
• Leads with safety; performs other duties as assigned.
