Job summary

Catholic Charities of Oregon in Portland, OR, is seeking a Development Director to lead the Development team and fundraising strategy. You will work with the CEO and Executive Team to grow revenue through major gifts, grants, bequests, and events.

This senior role oversees donor relationships, budget planning, and a comprehensive development plan, while aligning with the agency’s mission to serve vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 7 years in development/fundraising.
• 10+ years nonprofit fundraising and leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to solicit six-figure gifts and lead campaigns.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Experience with donor databases and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy and multi-year fundraising plan.
• Manage major donor portfolio and grant revenue.
• Oversee major gifts program and donor stewardship.
• Develop department budget and report to CEO.
• Collaborate with Communications for campaigns.
• Support Board and executive leadership with fundraising.
