Job summary

WAMC Northeast Public Radio, based in Albany, NY, seeks a Controller to lead the financial planning, accounting, and controls for a nonprofit public media organization. The role reports to the President/CEO and partners with senior leaders to shape financial strategy and governance.

The Controller will manage accounting practices, budgeting, grants, and compliance; oversee benefits administration and risk management; and interact with Board Finance/Audit committees.

Qualifications

• The Controller leads financial planning and accounting functions.
• Budgets, forecasts, and internal controls are developed and maintained.
• Grant accounting and reporting are managed.
• Executive liaison with the Board's Finance and Audit Committees.

Responsibilities
