Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a Manager of Network Support Services to lead the AMC and regional network teams in Ann Arbor and surrounding sites. You will drive standard processes, ensure network availability, and guide architecture reviews with the Network Architecture group.

The role requires budgeting, procurement, and collaboration with Facilities and other HITS teams to deliver scalable, secure network services across the enterprise. Hybrid work and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in IT operations, service delivery, or architecture in a complex org.
• 3+ years in a managerial/supervisory role overseeing 5+ direct reports.
• Experience supporting enterprise network services, infrastructure operations, cellular infrastructure, or related IT services.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and build consensus across teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMC and regional Network Support teams, establishing priorities and delivering operational commitments.
• Provide governance for network activities, standards, roadmaps, and enterprise guidance.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Enterprise Infrastructure, facilities, and vendors.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, contracts, and service agreements; enable long-term technology planning.
