Job summary

Noblis, Inc. is seeking a highly technical Security Engineer to advance security architecture within the FAA Telecommunications and Integrated Services (TIS) group.

You will own architecture‑level security responsibilities and ensure the FAA’s network design aligns with federal standards. You will analyze and guide network architecture for built‑in cybersecurity, review configurations and firewall rules, lead IPv4‑to‑IPv6 transitions, and promote Zero Trust and SDN across enterprise solutions,

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in network architecture and security design.
• Experience applying federal security guidelines (NIST 800-53, FISMA) to harden systems.
• Ability to serve as a technical bridge between security stakeholders and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and guide network architecture to ensure cybersecurity is built-in from the ground up.
• Review system configurations, firewall rules, and network paths for compliance with FAA Orders and federal standards.
• Lead IPv4 to IPv6 transition efforts from a cybersecurity and network perspective.
• Support the integration of Zero Trust, SDN, and defense-in-depth strategies.
• Act as a technical bridge between FAA cyber stakeholders and infrastructure providers.
