Job summary

Noblis is seeking a technically skilled analyst to support the FAA Telecommunications and Integrated Services (TIS) environment. You will analyze large data sets, automate data collection, validate data integrity, and provide security insights to cybersecurity and network teams.

The role requires scripting experience (Python/PowerShell/Bash), advanced Excel, and familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications, Data Analytics or CS.
• 0–5 years of cybersecurity/network security/ data analysis experience.
• Strong data analysis to assess large datasets for accuracy and security relevance.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar for automation.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, data validation.
• Ability to analyze and validate network security data and asset inventories.
• Understand TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAN/LAN.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF/FISMA/NIST 800-53 Rev.5.
• Ability to identify data discrepancies through quantitative analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• US Citizenship or GC with 3+ years of US residency.
• Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of network, security, and operational data for trends and risks.
• Develop scripts and automated processes for data collection and reporting.
• Use Excel to support analysis and reporting needs.
• Perform data integrity assessments of datasets.
• Reconcile data across systems to ensure reliability.
• Analyze network security configurations and asset inventories.
• Support cybersecurity teams with validation of control data and inventories.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations for security posture and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and automate processes.
• Support FAA cybersecurity initiatives and standards compliance.
• Assist with modernization, network transitions, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and program teams to support operations.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
