Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Strategic Buyer - Network to lead complex procurement, manage supplier relationships, and drive on-time delivery in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment across ITAR and other controlled programs. You will engage suppliers in tendering, manage material forecasts, and ensure producibility decisions align with customer demands and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations and/or related functions.
• Relocation not available; reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and services with complex or custom requirements.
• Drive deactivation/activation of parts to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate in aftermarket quoting with commercial teams.
• Manage producibility decisions for dormant parts and unknown suppliers.
• Oversee on-site supplier movements and ramp up/down based on risk matrix.
• Handle ITAR and other undisclosed program procurement activities.
• Receive and validate engineering specs with support from ITAR & undisclosed programs.
• Engage suppliers in tender preparation and define responsibilities for delivery.
• Manage material forecast collaboration and secure capacity commitments from suppliers.
