Job summary

Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking a Strategic Buyer to join the Networks team at the Irvine, CA facility. This on-site role focuses on complex procurement for non-standard, custom products and services, with emphasis on new supplier definitions and capacity commitments.

Responsibilities include managing ITAR-related procurement, supplier performance, and collaboration with engineering and commercial teams to meet demand and ensure compliance. Eligible candidates must be US persons under ITAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; ITAR restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and services with complex or custom requirements for non-standard programs.
• Drive deactivation/reactivation of parts to meet demands.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on aftermarket quoting.
• Own producibility decisions for dormant parts orUnknown suppliers.
• Manage in-site supplier movements and ramp processes based on risk.
• Handle ITAR and other undisclosed program procurement activities.
• Validate engineering specs with support from ITAR/undisclosed teams.
• Engage suppliers in tender prep and define delivery responsibilities.
• Coordinate material forecast and secure supplier capacity commitments.
