Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer for a customer site at Scott AFB, IL. The role requires an active Secret clearance and on-site presence to implement DISA-aligned services and network activations.

You will coordinate IT&A, manage service orders, configure devices, and collaborate with solution architects to resolve issues while ensuring compliant deployments across DoD networks.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and active Secret clearance.
• BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience or MS with <2 years.
• Experience with DISA programs, networks, and DoD processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT&A and new service activations per DISA standards.
• Collaborate with customers, architects and SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are in place for network changes.
• Configure network devices and analyze DISN/databases to meet requirements.
• Design, test and document network solutions and activations.
• Coordinate circuit activations with vendors for end-to-end connectivity.
• Monitor networks to assess impact and report findings.
• Engage with project managers and customers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Obtain stakeholder approvals to keep service requests progressing.
• Maintain knowledge of network hardware specifications and testing processes.
