Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate to join the Network Contracting & Services team. This remote role focuses on negotiating and managing contracts with healthcare providers to build a robust network and optimize costs.

You will report to the Director, Network Contracting & Services, with travel for meetings as needed. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including unlimited vacation and performance bonuses, and is open to candidates across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, or provider contracting.
• 2+ years supporting provider network strategy development and negotiating contracts.
• 1+ years running financial analyses on markets or product lines.
• 1+ years organizing large data sets such as claim files and provider rosters.

Responsibilities

• Implement contracting strategies aligned with network objectives.
• Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers ensuring compliance.
• Provide guidance to a team of contracting specialists.
• Analyze provider contracts to identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize data to support negotiation decisions.
• Mentor junior team members and support process improvements.
• Ensure contracting policies meet defined metrics and SLAs.
• Collaborate with provider services on servicing and education.
• Monitor networks for regulatory compliance and remediation.
