Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Significant experience (8+ years) in program finance, FP&A or project controls in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, earned value, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with government contracts, FAR/DFARS, CAS, EAC, and defense-program financial requirements.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/planning/reporting tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for naval power programs.
• Serve as finance partner to Program Managers, providing insights into performance, risks, and actions.
• Develop and maintain baselines including budgets, forecasts, EAC, cash-flow, profitability analyses.
• Analyze variances and communicate drivers and actions to leadership.
• Support monthly/quarterly rhythms: program reviews, close, OPP, long-range planning.
• Prepare clear, decision-ready financial reporting for leadership.
• Support pricing, cost-volume, and financial assessments for new opportunities.
• Ensure internal controls, government contracting requirements, and policies are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial data quality and visibility.
• Mentor finance team members.
