Job summary

The McHenry Management Group seeks an experienced analyst to support ship modernization and availability planning for US Navy programs. The role requires reviewing and tracking Availability Work Packages, coordinating with Type Desk and TYCOM, and ensuring alignment with Maintenance and Modernization plans.

Candidates must bring extensive shipboard HM&E experience, security clearances, and the ability to analyze SCDs, perform ROI projections, and prepare LOAs as per Navy processes.

Qualifications

• 20 years’ experience in military, civil service or contractor roles with shipboard engineering and maintenance experience.
• Five years experience with ship design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of HM&E systems.
• Five years experience within last five years of ship maintenance availability planning and execution of industrial work and repair functions supporting USN surface ship operation and/or maintenance.
• Must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Review, track, schedule and input to Type Desk on Availability Work Package and related planning.
• Analyze final Ship Change Document (SCD) Alteration completion data and provide ROI projections.
• Coordinate modernization requirements and funding for Navy programs.
• Liaise with NAVSEA PEOs and TYCOM on planned modernization validation.
• Provide on-site SME responses to in-person, telephone or e-mail inquiries during office hours.
