Job summary

RELI Group, a government-focused solutions provider, seeks a strategic Director, National Security to lead BD and capture for the federal National Security market, with a primary emphasis on DHS agencies including TSA, CBP, and ICE.

You will drive opportunity development, client engagement, capture strategy, and proposal execution while partnering with senior leadership to expand RELI's federal business and achieve long-term growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Federal government capture experience required.
• 8+ years in sales, business development, or related roles with DHS experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with executives.
• Strategic thinking to win new business.
• Strong time management and delegation.
• Experience with proposals (Orals) preferred.
• Deal sheet detailing opportunities, wins and losses.
• Must be located in the DMV area.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales lifecycle for DHS-focused opportunities (primary DHS focus: TSA; CBP, ICE as secondary).
• Lead development and execution of BD and capture strategies including market analysis, pipeline development, and client engagement.
• Collaborate with CSO and NS leadership to build a 3–5 year opportunity pipeline.
• Assemble and manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines for capture efforts.
• Develop innovative solutions, win themes, and value propositions to strengthen competitive position.
• Oversee proposal development with Proposal Manager and ensure win strategies are reflected.
• Collect and share business intelligence to refine strategies and improve win probability.
• Develop and present gate review materials to senior executives; align resources to close pursuit gaps.
