Job summary

Resideo is seeking a Director of North America Trade Compliance and Programs to lead international trade compliance across the US, Mexico, and Canada. You will align supply chain, engineering, and legal teams to translate regulations into scalable programs and strategies.

You will manage HTS classifications, FTA qualification (USMCA), IMMEX compliance, ECCN/BIS rules, ERP data governance, and risk controls, while mentoring a team of customs professionals. Travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in international trade or supply chain.
• Deep HTS, 19 CFR, USMCA origin rules.
• IMMEX knowledge and audits.
• ECCN, CCATs, BIS regs.
• US Customs Broker License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tariff Classification: Oversee HTS/Schedule B classification and defend product classifications.
• Free Trade Agreements: Develop and audit qualification strategies for FTAs (USMCA, AGOA).
• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of customs professionals.
• IMMEX Regulatory Reporting: Ensure accuracy of Annex 24/30 across Mexico facilities.
• Master Data Governance: Enforce data in ERP and systems (SAP, etc.).
• Risk Management: Mitigate risk for Sections 232/301 tariffs and AD/CVD.
• Policy & Reporting: Define global trade strategy and KPIs; liaise with brokers.
• Ability to travel up to 10% or as needed.
