Job summary

Hearth & Home Technologies is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead import/export programs for Lakeville, MN or Mount Pleasant, IA. You will work with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure compliant movement of goods in the global supply chain.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in international trade or equivalent with 5+ years of trade compliance experience, plus knowledge of HTS, ECCN, USMCA, EAR, and Incoterms. Travel up to 20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of industry-related trade compliance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade and customs compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN product classification.
• Working knowledge of ACE (Automated Commercial Environment).
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with supply chain, logistics, finance, legal, and purchasing teams to manage risk, strengthen compliance controls, and support strategic business objectives.
• Identify and implement duty savings, process improvements, and trade optimization opportunities that reduce costs and enhance operational performance.
