Job summary

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Revenue Administration, Municipal & Property Division, seeks a full-time Operations Coordinator to manage assessing programs, supervise staff, and coordinate educational courses for local officials.

Responsibilities include processing certification applications, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with state regulations while maintaining confidentiality and public access. Requires broad knowledge of NH laws and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience after high school in business administration, project management, office administration, or related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; supervise and coordinate work.
  • Willingness to travel statewide and comply with background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Process applications by examining documentation for the DRA Appraiser Certification Program; assess compliance with RSAs and rules.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, maintain communications via email and the DRA website.
  • Coordinate educational courses and curriculum for DRA certification; schedule sessions and handle registrations and materials.
  • Assign and monitor work of staff, provide training, and implement procedures to increase productivity.
  • Maintain records, manuals, and division administrative rules; ensure confidentiality and proper disclosure of information.
  • Respond to inquiries from taxpayers and municipalities; provide timely, professional information.
