Job summary

Washington County in West Bend seeks a Senior Municipal Planner to lead advanced planning, zoning and development code work for multiple municipalities. You will conduct long-range studies, analyze data, and advise on policy development, while coordinating with county staff, officials and community leaders.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in planning or related field, six years of experience, and a valid driver's license; AICP is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in urban/regional planning or related field.
• Minimum of six years of professional municipal planning experience.
• AICP preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-range plans and development codes.
• Coordinate with municipalities, staff, and elected officials.
• Conduct advanced planning studies and data analysis.
• Review development proposals and provide reports.
• Facilitate public participation and meetings.
