City of Maypearl seeks a seasoned Finance Director to lead the Finance Department, align budgeting with strategic goals, and ensure timely financial reporting to the City Manager, Council, and public.

You will oversee debt issuance, investments, compliance, and economic development incentives, and drive interdepartmental collaboration while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of governmental finance principles including reporting, financing, borrowing, and investment.
• Knowledge of cash management, pensions, and procurement law; municipal bonds and investment optimization.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide the Finance Department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Finance Department operations and align with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement financial management strategies and provide analysis to city management.
• Prepare and present financial, economic, and investment reports to the City Manager, City Council and the public.
