Job summary

Baltimore County Revenue Authority’s Baltimore County Golf division seeks a Director of Golf Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across five facilities, including golf operations, food and beverage, and instructional programming.

You will lead staff, develop budgets, manage revenue programs, and drive guest experience while partnering with the PGA and community organizations. This role reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Class A PGA Membership required.
• Seven years or more of progressively responsible golf operations management experience as a Head Golf Professional or beyond.
• Demonstrated experience managing employees, budgets, revenue programs, vendors, and customer-facing operations.
• Multi-facility golf management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial, organizational, leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for golf operations across BCRA’s five facilities.
• Direct and develop Head Golf Professionals, managers, and golf operations staff.
• Establish consistent operating standards, policies, pricing, programs, and customer service expectations.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets, revenue projections, capital needs, and financial performance.
• Monitor rounds, revenue, expenses, utilization, and other key performance indicators.
• Oversee major vendor relationships, contracts, technology platforms, and golf-related service agreements.
• Oversee golf rates, pass programs, promotions, instructional pricing, and other revenue-generating programs.
• Lead system-wide marketing initiatives, website content, digital communications, promotions, and online reputation management.
• Oversee junior golf programs, Youth on Course, and partnerships with schools and community organizations.
