Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Sr Portfolio Manager to lead client relationships in mortgage servicing. You will oversee operations, strategy execution, and profitability for key third-party clients.

You will manage risk, coordinate with Legal on servicing agreements, and drive process improvements while presenting findings to senior management. On-site at our Tempe, AZ office with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of GSE guidelines and regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and analyze data.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a group of third-party mortgage clients.
• Design and implement value-add business strategies and client campaigns.
• Monitor operational risk metrics and resolve issues.
• Oversee delegated authority requests and client communications.
• Track transfers and complete required GSE forms.
• Oversee repurchases and partner with prior servicers.
• Perform monthly GSE invoice oversight and root-cause analysis.
• Demonstrate root-cause analysis and procedural improvements.
• Manage individual client P&Ls and negotiate fee schedules.
• Assist in assimilating new third-party clients.
• Review Servicing Agreements for operational risk concerns with Legal.
• Improve content from Servicing Agreements for easier access.
• Articulate and present findings to varied audiences.
• Organize and lead onsite visits.
