Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead client relationships, oversee servicing operations, and drive profitability for a portfolio of mortgage clients. The role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, with experience in mortgage servicing and third-party client programs.

Responsibilities include serving as the single point of contact, implementing strategic initiatives, overseeing risk metrics, and coordinating with Legal on servicing agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline; 3+ years mortgage servicing experience, preferably client-facing.
• Strong business communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, PowerPoint and Visio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated group of mortgage clients; implement value-add strategies.
• Oversee servicing operations, risk management metrics, and reporting; manage client P&Ls.
• Negotiate fee schedules and assist in onboarding new third-party clients; partner with Legal on servicing agreements.
