Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Coppell, TX to oversee client relationships with a dedicated group of mortgage clients. You will drive value-add strategies, manage risk, and coordinate servicing operations to enhance profitability.

You will collaborate with Legal on Servicing Agreements, supervise transfers and P&Ls, and present findings to management. A business degree and 3+ years in mortgage servicing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline.
• 3+ years equivalent work experience in Mortgage Servicing, preferably in a client-facing function.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key, empowered single point of contact for a dedicated group of 3rd party mortgage clients.
• Design and implement value-add business strategies and client campaigns that affect operating practices and policy.
• Accountable for key operational risk-management metrics, investigating and resolving issues.
• Oversee delegated authority requests and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Oversee transfers, and complete required GSE forms and submissions as applicable.
• Manage repurchases and collaborate with prior seller/servicers.
• Perform monthly oversight and reconciliation of GSE invoice management and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrate root cause analysis and procedural improvement skills.
• Manage Individual Client P&Ls.
• Negotiate fee schedules and contractual requirements.
• Assist the Portfolio Management Team with assimilating new third-party clients.
• Review Servicing Agreements for operational risks and concerns with Legal.
• Improve operational efficiency by extracting info from Servicing Agreements for easy use.
• Lead portfolio processes with judgment to resolve key issues.
• Present ideas and findings to production staff and senior management.
• Organize and lead onsite visits.
