Job summary

Wolverine Fuels is seeking a Planner to implement and track predictive and preventive maintenance programs across all mine areas at Canyon Fuel Company – Fossil Rock Mine. You will be responsible for planned vs unplanned work, data presentation, and maintenance forecasting to support reliable operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role requires a strong safety mindset, excellent planning and scheduling skills, and proficiency with SAP to automate routine tasks and improve cost

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years of maintenance supervision experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and cost control procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed with a strong safety record.

Responsibilities

• Implement and track predictive and preventative maintenance programs across mine areas.
• Ensure 80/20 split for planned vs unplanned work with measurable outcomes.
• Maintain MSHA documentation and prepare maintenance plans and forecasts.
• Schedule work orders for unplanned maintenance and coordinate with crews.
• Use SAP to automate and streamline maintenance tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-per-ton reduction initiatives.
