Job summary

Boingo Wireless is seeking a senior leader to drive the Military and Federal business development strategy in the DMV or DFW regions. You will build a robust pipeline, lead a high-performing team, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, and Product to deliver competitive, compliant solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in government business development, a strong DoD network, and a proven track record closing multi-year deals valued at $10M or more. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in business development, sales, or strategic accounts with leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge of DAS, Wi-Fi, private networks, fiber, or related wireless tech; DAS experience preferred.
• Established DoD/military and federal agency networks across government contractors and partners.
• Proven success building and closing multi-year, high-value deals in government markets.
• Strong executive presence and negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and operate in the DMV or DFW regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year Military and Federal BD strategy aligned with Boingo growth goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Military and Federal BD organization with clear priorities and metrics.
• Maintain executive oversight of major pursuits and establish ownership within the team.
• Translate budgets, priorities, and procurement changes into actionable strategies.
• Monitor pipeline metrics, forecast accuracy, and account penetration.”
• Establish a disciplined sales cadence: pipeline reviews, forecast updates, and reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Product, and Operations on solutions.
• Direct strategy for RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and contract vehicles.
