Job summary

SYGMA seeks an experienced planning professional to analyze and maintain inbound supply chain for high-profile items. You will partner with vendors and internal teams to meet contracted needs and optimize costs, while monitoring PO accuracy and inventory levels to reduce DSO.

The role emphasizes DPR proficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive issue resolution to sustain service levels and profitability across SYGMA sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in a SYGMA merchandising role preferred, 1 year required.
• Proficient Excel and strong cross-functional communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecasting and demand planning for higher profile proprietary and non-proprietary items.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and issue resolution for inbound supply chain issues.
• Strategize with Inventory Analysts to maximize stocking efficiencies and develop reports.
• Troubleshoot inbound supply chain to ensure timely delivery and review data.
• Manage and process purchase orders in compliance with guidelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency with the DPR system to drive performance.
• Collaborate with teams on DPR improvement and vendor negotiations.
• Communicate with SYGMA sites and Corporate Management to improve efficiency.
