Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Merchandise Planner (Consumer Electronics) to develop monthly financial plans and forecasts aligned with our department strategy. You will work cross-functionally with merchants to maximize sales and profit, and to optimize inventory turnover across channels.

The role requires strong analytical and retail math skills, advanced Excel, and experience with planning software. This hybrid position is based at our Marlborough, MA club support center with regular

Qualifications

2–5 years’ experience in a retail planning or merchandising role.
Strong problem solving, retail math, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, credible and concise.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Experience presenting to and influencing team members and business partners.
Advanced Excel skills and planning software experience.

Responsibilities

Develop monthly financial plans and forecasts aligned to department strategy.
Collaborate with merchant in forecasting to maximize sales and profit.
Oversee allocation partners to ensure right products in right channels.
Build and execute department-level bottom-up forecasts with sales and margin targets.
Manage demand forecasts within JDA Demand or BY LDE to optimize orders.
Maintain inventory plans and flow for new club openings.
