Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Meetings and Events professional to plan and execute complex national meetings and trade shows.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, vendor management, and budget oversight to ensure alignment with business objectives and attendee experience goals. You will serve as a subject matter expert on event management technologies, support COE initiatives, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• 4+ years' experience in corporate meetings and trade shows
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Experience managing strategic programs or vendor relationships preferred
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Cvent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and execution of complex national meetings and events aligned with objectives.
• Serves as SME for national meetings and event management technology across the team.
• Oversees COE initiatives with programs, tools, processes, and vendors to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Manages vendor relationships, monitors performance, and implements enhancements.
• negotiates and tracks budgets with internal stakeholders.
• Executes trade shows from tabletop to large booths.
• Reviews contracts and booth layouts for meetings and trade shows.
• Uses technology to manage meetings and supports daily team operations.
