Cardinal Health is seeking a Meetings & Events professional to lead national meetings and trade shows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and attendee experience. You will manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional programs, acting as the SME for event management tech and ensuring scalable, compliant operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in corporate events, and CMP or Cvent experience is preferred, with up to 30% travel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 4+ years' experience in corporate meetings and trade shows highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements
• Experience managing strategic programs, vendor relationships, or operational initiatives preferred
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
• Cvent experience preferred
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Responsabilidades

• Leads the planning and execution of complex national meetings and events, ensuring alignment with business objectives, attendee experience goals, and operational standards
• Serves as the primary SME for national meetings and event management technology, providing expertise, recommendations, training, and guidance across the team
• Supports COE initiatives through oversight of assigned programs, tools, processes, and vendor partnerships to drive consistency, scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Manages strategic vendor relationships and assigned programs, monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing enhancements to drive service excellence and desired business outcomes
• Negotiates and tracks budgets. Works with internal stakeholders on budget management
• Ability to execute trade shows ranging from tabletop to large booths
• Understands and makes recommendations on contract terms and booth layouts related to meetings and trade shows
• Utilizes technology to strategically manage meetings
• Supports with day-to-day team operations
