Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager for the Cavalier Resort in Virginia Beach to drive catering sales and profitable event execution. You will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth.

The role requires forecasting, budgeting, and close collaboration with banquet, culinary, and operations teams to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience with catering sales is essential.
• 1+ year within the Hospitality Industry is required.
• Experience at a hotel of similar size and quality.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel, and Delphi.
• Knowledge of sales, revenue management, training and motivation of peers.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, marketing plans and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Understand monthly forecasting and annual budget processes.
• Improve meeting planner evaluation scores and satisfaction.
• Optimize room rental charges and re-booking of repeat business.
• Collaborate with industry organizations (NACE, MPI).
• Lead in sales techniques, negotiations, and client presentations.
• Coordinate with banquet and culinary teams for event execution.
