Job summary

Brevard County is seeking an experienced tourism development professional to proactively solicit new business, manage accounts, and coordinate meeting and convention bookings on the Space Coast.

You will be the primary liaison between meeting planners and hospitality partners, promoting Space Coast to association, corporate, and SMERF groups to secure meetings and conventions, with a required Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Three years of experience in hotel sales, catering, convention service, or a similar Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) role.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit new business and manage accounts.
• Coordinate meeting and convention bookings and grow meetings funnel.
• Serve as primary liaison between meeting planners and hospitality partners (hotels, venues, vendors).
• Promote the Space Coast to association, corporate, and SMERF meeting planners to secure meetings and conventions.
