Job summary

K2 is seeking a MEDLOG subject matter expert to support MARFORPAC's deliberate and contingency planning, focusing on Class VIII posture, readiness, and allied interoperability across the INDOPACOM theater. You will translate MEDLOG doctrine into actionable staff products and coordinate with planners and action officers.

The role requires 6+ years in military logistics, a Bachelor's in logistics or a related field, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in military logistics and sustainment operations.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics management, supply chain management, or related field.
• Ability to work independently on mission-critical tasks.
• Experience across DoD joint service and international logistics networks.
• TS/SCI clearance active.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess MEDLOG requirements from inputs and produce actionable recommendations.
• Compare capabilities against requirements and provide gap analyses.
• Monitor MIL/DoD communications for MEDLOG issues and inform planners.
• Develop and manage MEDLOG POA&Ms (Plans of Action & Milestones).
• Review staff products and support documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in MARFORPAC/INDOPACOM planning and synchronization meetings.
• Maintain task visibility using Teams trackers and related tools.
• Provide weekly activity updates and escalate issues to Force Surgeon/OFS.
• Contribute MEDLOG inputs to assessments, campaigns, and Annex Q cycles.
• Deliver reports in government formats on a timely basis.
