Job summary

MPE, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead commercial and new product development procurement teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials for medical equipment manufacturing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The role oversees procurement, inventory management, supplier relationships and adherence to FDA, ISO 13485, and client requirements, with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement and supplier management in medical device manufacturing.
• Proven ability to align sourcing with production schedules and client timelines.
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485 and CE marking standards.
• Strong ERP and data analytics skills.
• Experience in Make to Order/Engineer to Order environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for healthcare OEMs.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure cost competitiveness and quality.
• Lead procurement teams and mentor staff in Milwaukee.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and scorecards.
• Maintain traceability and documentation for regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and operations to forecast demand.
