Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Marketing Manager to direct internal teams and external agencies in executing broad-reach media programs, ensuring costs stay within planning guidelines and industry averages.

This role establishes short- and long-term strategies to maximize ROI on the organization’s media investments, overseeing TV, print and outdoor media plans, negotiating sponsorships, and driving measurable improvements across all buys while collaborating with brand marketing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Media, or Communications.
Minimum of 5 years media planning experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee all activities of broadcast, print, and out-of-home media planning/buying; set standards of excellence and communications.
Direct the development, presentation, and maintenance of all media plans and POVs on proposals.
Present plans to the organization and lead strategic planning initiatives.
Negotiate and manage contract process for TV sponsorship properties and outdoor verticals.
Develop systems for measuring effectiveness and optimization of media buys.
Manage budgets and oversee billing issues with internal accounting.
