Monks is seeking an Associate Account Director (Media Lead) to oversee strategic growth and health of a client portfolio. You will shape high-level partner strategies, collaborate with Capability Leads and senior leadership, and drive cross-capability coordination to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The role emphasises executive-level engagement, portfolio optimization, and leadership of multi-team initiatives to build high-performing client teams and sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in media, marketing, or advertising roles.
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated media strategies.
• Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large, complex client accounts’ strategic planning and growth.
• Lead the AUNZ media strategy and align teams across initiatives.
• Build an inclusive, motivated team environment and mentor staff.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and efficiencies.
• Lead on AI adoption and manage resourcing, delivery, and finances.
• Maintain awareness of media products, trends, and competitors.
