Job summary

Monks is seeking an Associate Strategy Director, Comms Planning, to join Monks Media Studio. You will partner with Media Strategy and Brand teams to craft growth‑oriented comms plans grounded in human insights, telling compelling stories and guiding cross‑functional execution.

You’ll lead data‑driven strategy, craft briefs and decks, and collaborate with strategy, creative, and client teams to drive results for global—cross‑cultural—campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience in Comms/Connections Strategy or adjacent strategy (digital, media, brand)
• Strong writer and communicator who writes fact‑based, exciting narratives/briefs
• Self‑starter who’s eager to contribute
• Collaborative with cross‑functional teams and agencies
• Experience partnering with strategy, creative, and client teams to drive brand consumer understanding

Responsibilities

• Own your strategic perspective to craft relevant client strategies
• Share frameworks, insights, and life experiences across Monks pillars
• Present sharp, deck‑driven thinking that aligns with client KPIs
• Extract behavioral tensions using audience intelligence to ground brand goals
• Analyze category dynamics via syndicated and digital tools to identify opportunities
• Synthesize inputs into deck‑ready narratives that guide teams
• Collaborate across Monks network to stay ahead of client needs
