Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Project Executive for Austin, TX to oversee large-scale mechanical construction projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data center sectors. The role provides executive leadership across multiple project teams, focusing on safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction while guiding business growth throughout Central Texas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical construction experience with leadership in project management.
• Experience guiding large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor project teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of multiple mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and operational teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain accountability for project profitability, forecasting, risk management, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, architects, and key project stakeholders.
• Participate in business development efforts, strategic planning, and client relationship management.
• Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, operations, VDC, fabrication, and field leadership teams to ensure project success.
• Identify operational challenges and implement proactive solutions to improve project outcomes.
• Support contract negotiations, change management, and dispute resolution when necessary.
• Review project schedules, manpower planning, procurement strategies, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project execution and operational processes.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding project performance and business opportunities.
