Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale data center projects across Texas. You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes from preconstruction through commissioning, coordinating with owners, designers, and contractors.

The role emphasizes risk management, schedule adherence, safety, and quality, with opportunities to influence projects from early planning through handover and to work with hyperscale

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on large data center projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear, cooling infrastructure, controls, and commissioning processes.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP construction activities on hyperscale data center developments.
• Review design documents for constructability, coordination, and risk identification.
• Monitor installation and progress of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, trade partners, design consultants, and commissioning teams.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and key MEP deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews, site inspections, and quality audits.
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover activities.
• Identify potential issues early and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide regular reporting on construction progress, risks, and project performance.
